March 17th — 12-1pm Pacific – ZOOM — Learn at Lunch: How to Document Your Teaching Efforts as a Faculty and TA

Faculty and TA’s put in great thought in planning a lesson and preparing for their course. However, these efforts may go unrecognized without appropriate documentation. A teaching portfolio is an effective tool/opportunity to reflect on teaching practices, collect information about student learning, and record evidence of professional development to share your teaching accomplishments. While this may seem intimidating at first, CAT will share/discuss small and tangible ways to move beyond student ratings and collect your own evidence across your entire teaching career.

About the Learn at Lunch Program: These informal conversations explore strategies to support equitable and effective remote teaching. Bring your most pressing questions, ideas and strategies to share, course materials to workshop with your fellow education leaders, and anything else you’d like to discuss. All faculty, teaching assistants, and instructional support staff are welcome to attend.
