Thursday November 4 — 12-1pm Pacific – ZOOM — Designing High-Impact Group Work
Students have mixed feelings about group work, but when designed intentionally, group work has the potential to amplify learning and foster community. Join CAT as we share the mechanics of group work, which include aligning tasks with learning objectives, brainstorming types of activities you can use, and how to set up activities that support group work. Then join us the following week as we discuss strategies for constructing groups and how to maintain group harmony.

About the Learn at Lunch Program: These informal conversations explore strategies to support equitable and effective remote teaching. Bring your most pressing questions, ideas and strategies to share, course materials to workshop with your fellow education leaders, and anything else you’d like to discuss. All faculty, teaching assistants, and instructional support staff are welcome to attend.
