David Laude, Professor of Chemistry and former Senior Vice Provost and “graduation champion” at UT Austin, will discuss his experiences around grading at a large public university (very much like UCLA) and describe initiatives he’s undertaken to “Kill the Grading Curve” in his home department and in support of student success on his campus more broadly
